Cairo Development & Investment was established under law 43 of year 1974 for the purpose of real estate investment, land reclamation and animal production development. The Company is primarily engaged in the investment, purchase, development and sale of residential, agricultural, commercial, industrial and touristic projects across Egypt. It is also involved in land reclamation operations, as well as crop and animal farming. It was listed on Cairo and Alexandria Stock Exchange on 07/04/1992.
Financial Performance:
Cairo Development and Investment posted a net profit of EGP730 thousand for the 3Q 2011 vs. EGP1.4 million for the same period of 2010.
