Amer Group Holding Co.SAE is engaged in the real estate development and hospitality management sector. The Company develops, manages and operates several real estate projects, hotels and touristic resorts located at the Egyptian northern coast and the Red Sea costs that consist of residential complexes, accommodation, offices, commercial, and leisure and recreation facilities. Amer is also engaged in the contracting sector though their joint venture, Arabtec Egypt, and in the education sector through managing Alamein University. The Company has a sales backlog of EGP2.2 billion worth of residential units that are yet to be delivered.
Financial Performance:
The Company.s Return on Average Equity has ranged between 62% and 67% demonstrating its strong operations, only to decline as a result of the IPO, which increased the company.s equity base. During 2011 the operating profit and net profit margins continued to improve steadily.
