.Dakahlia Produce Group was established in 1983 through Dakahlia Poultry. The later is a key player in the poultry market and is specializing in producing and exporting table eggs, hatchery, broiler breeders and parent stock.
.The Group poultry business is based on three integrated companies covering, in addition to producing, the marketing and distributing services for its products.
.By the beginning of the new millennium, the Group extended its business into the agriculture sector by establishing Dakahlia Agricultural Development. Dakahlia currently owns 5 large areas of land that have been developed or are currently being developed for export agriculture. The 5 sites span most major climatic areas of Egypt, giving the company the ability to supply crops in unique production windows. Dakahlia.s production sites have an area exceeding 8,000 hectares (20,000 acres), all of which are planned to be fully developed by 2010.
